PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

......................................................................................................................................................

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to introduce the certified diver to new interests in specialist areas of their choice. Primarily based on practical experience, most of the activities are conducted in the water after short briefings. There are no exams to be taken, although a knowledge review must be completed for each dive.

Courses consist of 5 dives, and are normally run over two days. Two of these dives - the navigation and the deep dive - are mandatory. The remaining 3 can be chosen from wreck dive, night dive, dry suit dive, boat dive and peak performance buoyancy. Any dive from the Advanced Open Water course can be counted towards a certification in that specialty area.

Upon completion of the course, you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 30m.
