PADI Open Water Diver

The adventure starts here! This course is an enjoyable and informative way of gaining your passport to the underwater world. You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge required to enable you to plan and conduct dives without the supervision of an instructor.

With an emphasis on safe diving practices, the course consists of four theory sessions, four pool sessions and four open water dives.

Upon completion of the course, a PADI Open Water diver is certified to dive almost anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 metres with a buddy of equal, or higher, qualification.

 Busy Pool
  Experience required: None Open Water Capernwray
  Minimum age: 12 years
  Requirements: Relatively fit & healthy, able to swim 200m & tread water, sign medical waiver.
  Normal duration: 4 weeks.
  Equipment required: None - all equipment provided for use on the course, although it is recommended that personal items such as a mask and snorkel are purchased.
  Maximum dive depth on certification: 18m (12m for Junior Open Water Divers).
