PADI Open Water Referral

The PADI Open Water Referral course is the ideal course for people wanting to dive abroad without spending all their holiday in a classroom.

The theory and pool elements of the Open Water course are covered, leaving the student free to complete the open water dives whilst on holiday. These dives must be completed within 12 months.

  Experience required: None
  Minimum age: 10 years
  Requirements: Relatively fit & healthy, able to swim 200m & tread water, sign medical waiver.
  Normal duration: 4 weeks.    
  Equipment required: None - all equipment provided for use on the course, although it is recommended that personal items such as a mask and snorkel are purchased.    
  Maximum dive depth on certification: 18m (12m for Junior Open Water Divers).
